A very lovely outfit by Ekoa Biola, this is nice because of the mesh detail on the chest and arms. Moreover the colour of head wrap is very unique, it should remind you of a golden- green. The long length dress has so many interesting features, such as the slit on the leg of the dress, and the jewel embellishment across the dress, from far it looks like sparkly diamond rhinestones. Nike Davies-Okundaye was born in Ogidi-Ijumu, Kogi State, Nigeria. She is from a family of craftsmen, and so since a young age Nike was nurtured into art. Today she is a major art influencer around the world, her artwork is exhibited in Nigeria, England,  United States of America, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and last but not least Italy. Nike has managed to open one of the largest galleries in Africa, and art centres in Nigeria, for example the ‘Nike art gallery’ currently in Lekki. When you look at her work, you will see the influence of the village art, textiles, print, and skill for weaving (that she was taught from the age of six by her grandmother).
